Associate Managing Director

Laurie Iacono is an associate managing director in the Cyber Risk practice, based in Secaucus. Laurie leverages more than seven years of cyber experience conducting threat intelligence analysis and managing the day-to-day operations of global cyber intelligence analysts. She assists clients with investigative and technical support in incident response and dark web monitoring.

Prior to joining Kroll, Laurie managed the Brand and Consumer Protection program at the National Cyber-Forensics Training Alliance (NCFTA). During her time at the NCFTA, Laurie led a large team of intelligence analysts providing tactical and strategic reports on the cyber threat landscape across multiple industries. She frequently collaborated with industry and law enforcement partners, facilitated working groups and provided substantive input to the NCFTA’s analyst training program to help improve the cyber workforce. 

Laurie’s expertise has been featured in Security Magazine and Dark Reading. She has also presented at BSides Pittsburgh, Security Connect 2021 and 2022 SANS CTI Summit. Currently, Laurie is also an adjunct professor, lecturing on cyber tradecraft at Robert Morris University and covering an introduction to cybercrimes at the University of Pittsburgh.

Laurie holds a Master of Fine Arts in writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She is pursuing a master’s degree in information systems and cyber security from Penn State University.
