Managing Director

Jonathan Jacobs joined Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) in 2005. He is a managing director in the New York office and part of the firm’s Financial Reporting practice. Jonathan is the global financial services industry leader at Kroll and he has more than 30 years of experience in financial consulting.

Prior to joining Kroll, Jonathan was a managing director at Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting. He also was with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 14 years as a director in the Valuation Consulting and Audit practices. Jonathan specializes in providing business and asset valuations to the financial services industry, with significant experience in serving global clients within the banking, insurance, asset management brokerage, consumer finance specialty and structured finance, and transaction processing industries. His clients have included leading global financial services firms, large regional and community banks, traditional and alternative asset and wealth management companies, broker dealers, health and property & casualty insurance companies, investment banking firms, credit card and merchant processing companies, and specialty finance, lending and trading companies in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. 

Jonathan holds a B.S. in accounting from Brooklyn College and is a certified public accountant, as well as an accredited in business valuation through the AICPA.
